Overview
The next in our Midlands Economic Forum Series examines the constraints on stronger growth in the region.
Although export growth and manufacturing performance has been amongst the strongest nationally, transport and communications infrastructure appear close to capacity.
This conference will examine how the various local institutions, public, private and voluntary can work together to agree on a common strategy to identify and resolve the bottlenecks. Improving supply-chain access between the East and West Midlands has the potential of shifting trend economic growth by 4-5 percentage points. To get involved in this debate, you need to make your input, register today.
